My Impact Project

This is my commitment towards leaving the world a better place.

I have, over time, learned that the transformation we seek in the world starts with our dedication and action towards making the change happen. It is inspired by the words of Albert Einstein, which state that: The aim of education must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who, however, see in the service to the community their highest life problem.

The first project was in January 2020. Five students from the University of Ibadan were sponsored to train in Graphic Design at Skillng

The second project is the West African Examination (WAEC) Scholarship, which is the longest-serving initiative, beginning in January 2021. This scholarship is provided to senior secondary school (high school) students from low-income families and underserved communities.

  • In the first year, twenty students qualified for the scholarship. The subsequent scholarship after this has since been self-funded.
  • In 2022, eight students received the scholarship.
  • In 2023, five students were funded.
  • In 2024, ten students received the scholarship.
  • In 2025, eleven students qualified for the scholarship.
  • In 2026, ten students qualified for the scholarship.

While the WAEC scholarship is currently the project’s focus, the broader goal of my social impact work is a commitment to educational and skills-acquisition equity and to advancing innovation, research, and development in Nigeria and Africa.
